This notice explains how I Need an Agency handles information when you browse the directory, contact us or use advertising preferences.
Who operates this website?

Directory and contact information
We compile agency profiles from public business sources and information provided by agencies. Profiles may include agency names, websites, business contact details, locations, services and source references. We may also research publicly listed business email addresses to contact agencies about their directory records. Public availability does not establish permission for unrelated marketing. You can ask us to correct or remove information associated with you.
Information you provide
When you email us, we receive your email address, the information you send and any attachments. We use these to respond and handle listing, correction and ownership enquiries. Website forms send your request to our support mailbox through Resend. A request reference is shown only after the email provider accepts the message; this is not a guarantee of inbox delivery or approval. Direct email links still open your email app. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Technical data and local preferences
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information to deliver and secure the website. The directory uses a country signal derived from the request to suggest local lists; it does not request device GPS location. Theme preferences are stored in your browser using the agency-theme local storage key. Search terms appear in page URLs, which may also appear in browser history and request logs.
Profile activity measurement
We count profile views and agency website clicks without analytics cookies. A daily keyed hash of the network IP and browser user-agent deduplicates each action per agency per UTC day. Raw IP addresses and browser strings are not stored in this measurement table. Hashes cannot link activity across days and are retained for up to 35 days, with cleanup during incoming measurements. Signed-in accounts, recognised bots, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control requests are excluded. Counts are approximate interactions, not unique people or leads. A session-only browser value also keeps random directory ordering stable while browsing.
Audience measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure visits, viewed pages, referring sites, approximate countries and device/browser categories. It does not use analytics cookies. We remove query parameters and URL fragments from page-view URLs before sending them and do not send form contents as analytics events. Visitor counts are estimates rather than identified individuals.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense. Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers and information about visits to this and other websites to deliver, personalise and measure ads. Advertising services can process IP addresses, browser/device details and consent choices. These services have their own privacy policies.
Your choices
Google’s consent message offers consent, refusal and option management where applicable. Use the Cookie settings control in the footer when available to revisit your choice. You may also manage cookies and site storage in your browser; deleting them can reset saved preferences. Advertising personalisation controls and third-party opt-out information are linked below. Refusing personalised advertising does not require paying to use the directory.
Weekly agency reports
Published agency owners and manually reviewed listing-request contacts receive a plain-text weekly summary of their own profile views and website clicks. We store the contact address, report period and delivery attempt status to prevent duplicate sending. Messages are sent through Resend. You can stop reports using the signed unsubscribe link and confirmation page in each email. Stopping reports does not remove your listing or affect login codes. An accepted status means email-provider acceptance, not confirmed inbox delivery.
Agency accounts
When you use the account portal, we store your email, verification records, ownership requests, profile changes and approval history in Neon Postgres. Resend delivers login codes. Codes expire after ten minutes; the required login cookie lasts up to seven days. Emails are not displayed on public agency profiles. If you optionally tell us how you found the platform, we store that answer with your request to understand discovery channels. It is self-reported, not verified attribution, is not published on your profile and does not affect approval. You can request account and personal-data deletion through our contact address.
Purposes, providers and storage
We use information to operate and secure the directory, maintain business listings, respond to requests and support advertising. Where applicable, we rely on consent for optional advertising storage and personalisation, and legitimate interests for operating the directory, security and responding to enquiries. Information is processed through hosting, email and advertising providers and may be processed outside your country. We retain information as needed for these purposes and applicable obligations; a deletion request may require retaining limited information to record or honour that request. Provider-controlled retention is described in their policies.
Requests and changes
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion, object to processing, or request restriction or portability of your information. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing and contact the relevant data protection authority. Email us with enough detail to identify the record or request; we may need to verify your connection to it. This notice will be updated when relevant practices change.
